For the month of November, Secord will be collecting soft plastics.
What kind of flexible plastic is eligible for collection?
This program is collecting residential flexible plastic like the kind often found in student lunches. For example, zipper-lock bags and stand up pouches, crinkly granola bar wrappers and chip bags, and plastic grocery-type bags. This program will also accept flexible plastics collected from home – for example, bread bags, flexible packaging, outer bags and overwrap, and woven plastic bags.

What’s in it for your school?
Each participating school receives a $200 honorarium and Recycle BC will pay $2.00 per kilogram of flexible plastic collected! Division 19, Ms. Brown, & Mme. Durant will decide how the money will be used.
Where do you put the donated soft plastic?
There is a bin located on the ground floor, next to the elevator. Please don't leave bags of soft plastic outside Mme. Durant's classroom
