Volunteers needed for Cube Club!

Seeking parent volunteers for Rubik's Cube Club!

After running the Cube Club for several years, I am hoping to find a co-leader this year, with the possibility of taking over the club in future years. If you don't want to call yourself a co-leader, any regular volunteers are most welcome! No cubing skills necessary!

When & Where: Thursdays at lunch in Mme Octavia's room

What's it like: Cube Club is very popular, with anywhere from 15-50 kids showing up, depending on the weather. It's mostly a casual hangout, with kids borrowing our cubes or bringing their own. If the adult:kid ratio is favourable, I am able to teach some solving skills, but without an extra adult volunteer this isn't possible.

What you'd do:

- help kids find a cube and find a seat

- encourage good stewardship of our club's cubes & Mme Octavia's classroom

- take 10 minutes afterwards to do cube inventory & maintenance tasks

- bonus/optional: learn to solve the Rubik's cube and be willing to help teach others! I can teach you
