Welcome back to all our existing Secord community and to all the new ones coming to join us this year. Every year the PAC comes out to show our Secord hospitality. At these events, we aim to inform everyone of what to expect from the school and the PAC and to give the opportunity for everyone to find a way to get more involved and grow our wonderful Secord family.

WELCOME BACK COFFEE
​
On September 3rd, 2024 the PAC will be offering free coffee and snacks to everyone from 9 am - 10 am. Come join us at the playground entrance on East 10th, grab a coffee and see where you might want to sign up to help out during the year.
​
We will be offering a second session of coffee and snacks on September 5th from 9 am - 10 am and 11 am - 12 pm to specifically welcome all the new K parents. We will be setting up at the kindergarten entrance on Lakewood Drive. Come find out what PAC is all about and see what exciting events you can expect us to bring you for the year.

WELCOME EVENT
​
Come join us on Wednesday, September 25th the PAC will be holding a big Welcome Event which will include a self-led tour of the school (hopefully with your kiddo as the tour guide) in the form of a scavenger/room hunt. Find all the rooms and get a little prize on your final stop. Some teachers will also opt to do their "meet the teacher" night on this night. And don't worry about dinner, we have you covered, you can pre-order pizza by the slice or get an entire pie for the family to enjoy. There will be limited slices available to purchase on the day, cash, credit and debit accepted. Last year we also had dessert covered with a parent supported bake sale, which we hope to do again this year.
Finally, come join us for the main event, our first PAC meeting of the year. Come learn about all the fun things we have planned for the year and see how you can get involved and sign up! The PAC Exec and admin will be there to answer all your burning questions. Hope to see you all there!!!!
