In the wake of the tragic event that happened on Saturday at the Lapu-Lapu Day celebrations, we want to extend our deepest sympathies and support to everyone affected.  With this happening so close to home, we know many of our Secord families have been touched by this.

In times of senseless tragedy, it's difficult to find the right words to express the depth of our sorrow and confusion.  We are all heartbroken, but stand together with our community united with love and deep sorrow.  As a community, we will find ways to honour the memories of those lost and to the families that have been changed forever.
