TRACK AND FIELD - 2024
Secord is excited to be returning to Track and Field this year. It will be offered to students in grades 4-7. Morning practices will be at the track at 8am at Van Tech high school track and students are expected to attend all practices unless there is a note to excuse them. Staff will meet them there in the morning along with parent coaches. Parents/Guardians are responsible for getting their kids to the track in the morning.
Practices will be every Tuesday and Thursday morning at 8am. If it is raining, check on the Laura Secord Parents' Facebook page to see if practice has been cancelled. Notice will be posted by 7:30am the morning of. School staff and volunteers will walk the students back to school for the first bell. If there is a meet on the practice day then the practice is cancelled.

Wednesday, May 1st - Senior mini meet after school
Thursday, May 9th - Junior mini meet after school

Wednesday, May 22nd - Junior mini meet after school
Monday, June 3rd - Final meet for all grades, entire school day
Mini meets should be over by 4:30pm so please make sure you are there to pick up or give written consent for your child to walk home by themselves. Unclaimed kids will be walked back to school and dismissed from there.
